Profile
My name is Katie Haley and I am the founder of CosmicFlower
Aromatherapy. I have been involved in the health and beauty
industry my entire career.. After working many years for
large companies like Estee Lauder and Lancome, I started
doing independent research with the goal of formulating
my own product line. Ever since I was a child I had a
great love and admiration for nature and wanted to create
products that were completely organic.
Beauty rituals were taught to me by my mother, grandmother and many women in my life. They believed that these magical substances not only made you look better, but infused you with feelings of self confidence, health and wellbeing.
It is my belief that plants were put on the earth by our "creator" for the pleasure and healing of mankind. It is one of my greatest passions to teach the art and science of Aromatherapy and help others discover that aromatic plants are a powerful form of health care.
My credentials include 15 years of experience in the healing arts field. I've earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nutrition and am a liicensed Esthetician, Massage Therapist and Spa Specialist. I recieved my Medical Aromatherapy Certification in France and I have served 4 years as President of the Florida State Massage Therapy Association, Central Florida Chapter.
In my Massage Magazine column called "The Aromatic Way" I share my advice and ideas with thousands of readers who want to incorporate Aromatherapy into their lives and practices. I have also been a featured speaker for the Florida State Massage Therapy Convention,The Florida Chiropractic Convention and The Esthetic, Cosmetic and Spa Conference in Las Vegas.
At CosmicFlower Aromatherpay Inc. we source out our own essential oils from farms and importers we personally know and trust. We have traveled to Europe, Asia, Central America and the Carribean to study the indigenous plants and find the best ingredients for our formulations. On a personal note, I am a long time resident of Orlando Florida "The City Beautiful" and this year I am traveling to India to study Aromatherapy and Ayurveda. My first book titled, "A Diamond For India", will be available from Peppertree Press early this summer.
